- GET TO KNOW THE "RAW" STORY BEHIND OUR BRAND -

We named our company, King's BARF Diet Raw Dog Food, after our English Bulldog, King. We wanted to provide furparents like us a HEALTHY alternative to processed and commercially available dog food. 

When King became a part of our family, we promised to always take care of him and give him the best as we would a family member. After all, pets are FAMILY! 
We were dissatisfied with how these bags of outrageously expensive kibble and canned processed meats were making King unhealthy. 

As the days went by, we noticed that King had reddish skin coupled with a coat that was dry, coarse and dull. He developed nasty hot spots which irritated him a lot!  He'd itch and scratch until those hot spots turned into wounds which worried us and caused more problems. We were so scared he had mange which is a serious skin disease that would mean a lifetime of close monitoring and medication.

We consulted friends in the animal industry, vets and other furparents. We were advised to drastically change a lot of things ---We switched to supposedly "more nutritious" food brands, added supplements to the diet and experimented with several hygiene rituals. You name it, we've probably done it. We saw very minimal improvement. Then we discovered RAW FEEDING. At this point we were desperate and nothing could possibly go wrong so we decided to give it a try.

We were PAWmazingly surprised at how raw food brought King bouncing back to health. King's appetite improved and slowly the hot spots and itches started to go away! Before long, hair started to grow in areas that were previously infected with hot spots.

We also noticed that raw feeding helped King's digestion and pooping habits. His poop didn't smell as unpleasant as before. His poop became smaller and more solid, making clean up a lot easier.

All these after just a few days on raw food. Now, we want to share our experience and knowledge by providing a complete raw dog food mix that follows the Biologically Appropriate Raw Food (BARF) Model of raw feeding.
